The brief
What the client asked for.
Parents in Lahore find kids' activities through scattered Instagram pages and WhatsApp groups.
We wanted one clean app: pick your city, see what's on this week, save it, and contact the organiser in one tap.
No sign-up for parents. Our team needed a simple portal to add activities, venues and photos.
The design boards were final, so the app had to match them screen by screen.

Problems solved
The hard parts, and how we fixed them.
Case 01
Maps without a monthly bill
ProblemGoogle's map tools need a billing account and an API key, which the project didn't want.
FixParents see a key-free Google map with directions. The admin pins venues on OpenStreetMap and finds them by name. No key, no billing.
Case 02
Thousands of listings
ProblemLoading every activity into the phone would get slower with every new listing.
FixFiltering and paging happen inside the database. We tested it with 20,000 live records.
Case 03
Final designs, matched screen by screen
ProblemThe client's design boards were locked, so the app had to look exactly like them.
FixEach screen was measured against its board side by side at phone and desktop sizes.
Case 04
Safe by default
ProblemA public directory and a staff portal share one database.
FixRow-level security on every table, staff-only admin with sign-up switched off, and 40 automated security tests.
